Unfortunately I’m not sure what’s the construction for but looks like they’re building a road to heaven. Let’s see if there’s speed racer will be hanging around the area once it’s being build especially for drifters..

Alright,I know I haven’t been posting anything after awhile. Shall try to keep it up and running again from time to time.

I was amaze to see such a nice bike (three wheeler) while I was on my way home from the office. Hence snap it while driving my car (kids,don’t do this at home) using the Hipstamatic photography app from iTunes.

Got this story image figure yesterday from an action figure shop in Lowyat. It’s from Trigun Maximum anime. It’s pretty nice from my point of view and it ain’t that expensive as well for such a size.

Compliments from Traders Hotel

It’s been a long day and when I get back from the training all I was looking forward to was a long hot shower in the hotel.

What happen when the tap was turn on was murky water flowing out. As all other customers in the hotel would do was ring up the service number an that’s what I did. Lady picks up and say there’s a problem with the boiler room and she apologised immediately. She them told me that she’ll call me back after it’s fixed.

A couple of hours later a call came and they apologised again and told me problem is rectify and fixed. But will need to flush out the water. They offered to help but I’m good enough to flush out the water by letting it flow…

Got my long awaited shower after a couple of minutes…

Next day I proceed to training as normal and when I got back there’s a letter from the management apologizing on what happened and there goes a plate of highly looking fancy chocolates. I was stunned by the service provided. I’d also say it’s definitely a great service ensuring the customer is satisfied with their stay.

There you go…

Coffee with Canon

Canon held an event in Times Square, Penang today. Coffee with Canon is one of the first event that Canon held and it was a successful event.

As usual the door gift is never dissapointing. Door gift includes EF Lens Work III hard cover book a.k.a. “The RED Poisonous Book”, a memory card holder and a lanyard from Canon EOS digital.

Canon invited two professional speakers. One of them is the infamous Glenn Guan that works for The Star and the other speaker is Kevin Chooi from NutmegStudio.

Glenn is specialise in Sports photography where Kevin is specialise in Wedding and Portrait photography.

It ends with a Q&A session…

First Pipe

I was out in QB Mall like any other dinner hours. Kept walking pass the pipe shop and always eager to know what is it like smoking a pipe. Took my courage n step in the shop and look around. Very facinated with the different shape and design they have. A lady walks over to me and start offering her kind service. I basically told her I’m a newbie and she starts recommending me the cheaper pipes as those in the display basically easily range from RM300 to almost RM1k. It’s just crazy, but she’s kind enough to recommend me a pretty good looking one which cost RM90. I just love it…

Next we moved over to the types of tabacco. There’s a glass cupboard filled with the variaety of tabacco. I just feel like a kid in a candy shop. She ended up recommending me the ‘Night Cap’ which printed in the packaging that it’s a perfect after dinner smoke, flavored with cordial spirits. Sounds pretty awesome and it definitely smells so much more better than cig.

Next purchase was filters, basically she recommends me to Big Ben which is pretty famous in this line of products. I just take them as what she recommended since it’s my first time.

Got home and started googling all about pipe smoking and found lots of article and information. Looks like smoking a pipe really needs skills and it’s an art form of higher level of smoking from what I sees it. Haha…a form of relaxation instead of stress reliever.

I’m currently missing a pipe tamper (use to push down the tabacco) and pipe reamers (use to clean the ‘cake’ of the bowl).

Got myself PhotoNest from Apps Store yesterday. It’s basically an app created for folks using their iPhone to load pictures and post it through PhotoNest, at least that’s what I thought of when getting the app.

After installing it, very disappointed and basic mistakes from an app is it crashes when you login into the apps. Thought I got my tweeter password wrongly entered. Hence turn on my computer and try to get in thru Mozilla, but got the following error…*first I’ve ever saw*

Unfortunately when Tweeter is back online, tried PhotoNest again but still the same as in crashing. I’ve also tried restarting my phone but still face the same issue. Have reported the issue from iTunes feedback/review, all I can do is wait for the next release hoping it’ll fix the issue…
